Warm welcome

From 27 February to 7 March 2020 we welcome you to the second edition of «jungspund – Theater Festival for Young Audiences». The Lokremise and the FigurenTheater St.Gallen will feature eleven music, dance, puppet and spoken theater productions from Switzerland for all ages 4 and up.

In addition to these productions, we are eagerly anticipating the three plays that will premiere during the festival. Through our «Schaufenster» we are offering another ten groups and individual artists the opportunity to present their current productions.

The supporting program of ASSITEJ Switzerland invites you to a multifaceted theatrical exchange and welcomes the German-speaking ASSITEJ board members to a symposium. We are particularly looking forward to the presentation of the «Prix ASSITEJ», which will be awarded for the first time within the framework of «jungspund».

On four evenings, the «JungSpundBänd» and their special guest artists will wind up the evenings with a performance.

We are looking forward to the large range of offerings during the festival, to exciting conversations between the artists and the audience. We are looking forward to seeing you again at «jungspund».

    Vielseitige Tanz- und Theateraufführungen, vier Konzerte der festivaleigenen JungSpundBänd, ein Schaufenster mit zehn Kurz-Beiträgen, Inszenierungseinblicke, Publikumsgespräche, ein spannendes Rahmenprogramm für das Fachpublikum, die Preisverleihung des ersten Prix-ASSITEJ, aber auch das Städtetreffen der Voyeure, das Meeting der deutschsprachigen ASSITEJ-Vorstände und die riesenhafte Holzfigur im Aussenbereich der Lokremise haben dem Festival unvergessliche Höhepunkte und Momente beschert.

    Verleihung Prix ASSITEJ
    Nina Knecht und Simon Ho gewinnen den ersten Prix ASSITEJ! Mit dem ersten Prix ASSITEJ Schweiz werden zwei verdiente Persönlichkeiten für ihr impulsgebendes Engagement zugunsten des professionellen Theaters für ein junges Publikum ausgezeichnet. Die Jury bestimmte Nina Knecht (Gründerin Prima Festival/Theaterpädagogin) und Simon Ho (Musiker/Komponist) als Preisträger*innen. Wir gratulieren herzlichst zur Wahl!
