Program
The audience will experience 11 exciting, poetic, dramatic, and bizarre performances, characterized by fantasy, timeliness and artistic diversity. With four co-productions and three premieres, the festival offers an up-to-date insight into the Swiss theater scene for young audiences.
There is also a lot to see and experience around the festival. On the Lokremise forecourt, the «Fätze» – a giant figure made of roof battens – welcomes the festival guests. The «Kollektiv hoch hinaus» creates a place of encounter and offers space to chat and to linger.
The supporting program of ASSITEJ Switzerland invites everyone to a multifaceted exchange and welcomes the German-speaking ASSITEJ board members to a symposium. A special highlight of the Second Edition will be the presentation of the «Prix ASSITEJ», which will be awarded for the first time to a deserving person, group or institution for an inspiring commitment to professional theater for a young audience.
The Festival Center in the Lokremise, with a café and bar, is open every day and invites you to meetings, discussions, concerts and celebrations.
